PrimeSouth Bank Hosts Grand Opening Event

PrimeSouth Bank recently celebrated the opening of its new Glynn County branch at 1795 Frederica Road on Saint Simons Island. More than 100 members of the community joined in the festivities including fun music, a delicious lunch, refreshing frozen yogurt treats, and many giveaways.

“Cutting the ribbon with the Chamber of Commerce alongside the PrimeSouth Bank board & staff members was truly a gratifying moment,” elaborated PrimeSouth Bank President and CEO Jim Walker. “I am proud of the team’s diligent efforts to collaborate with our local partners to ensure the design, functionality, and features of this branch were reflective of our coastal community and our organizational core values.”

Inspiration for the branch design is low country vernacular architecture: exposed beams, abundant natural light throughout, lap wood siding, a cupola, brick detailing and a large front porch. The interior features local craftsmanship, a branded coffee station and various art installations that pay homage to local wildlife and history. The team is looking forward to opening a community room which will be available for use by select community stakeholders including philanthropic organizations. The new branch also features new technological advances like the drive-thru that utilizes 2- way video displays and an interactive teller machine. PrimeSouth is committed to evolving technologically while keeping true to relationship banking.
